They (you?) will then have 10 minutes, 59 seconds to call and confirm...then, it's onto the standby list for Flight 1059 to check out Rage, the Chilis, Sonic Youth, and a hundred other great bands for a life-altering weekend of fun.

Another Spectacular Week on The Morning After Show!

Happy Friday to you! Thanks for checking us out on the web. We've heard those oh-so-familar rumors that we'll be streaming by the end of the month...so stay tuned for details. We had ourselves a huge week on The Morning After Show! Tons of drama with other people on O-Rock 1059, which always leads to compelling radio. Speaking of which, props to Scott from the Jody and Scott show for making out with Drew's girlfriend at the radio station! Get it, boy!

We had Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer in the studio, Deborah "Dreamboat" Norville on the phone, a creepy Valentine's song from Silent Rob, food from Blackwater BBQ, 2 cases of salmonella from Peter Pan Peanut Butter (Drew and Savannah both ate from jars with the dreaded 2111), Savannah's Valentines behind bars, a review of Drew's performance at the Magic game, and according to our boss (Mr. Bob), not enough talk about housing rates!

Next week...how we are going to hook you up with the SOLD-OUT Coachella tickets, airfare, and hotel. This might be the biggest prize that O-Rock 1059 has ever given away...and it's a MORNING AFTER SHOW EXCLUSIVE! You'll have to listen next week or you might miss your chance to get more information. Also, an updated night at a MAGIC GAME! Drew and Rob will make their triumphant return to Big Belly on Wednesday, and we'll have good news from our good friends at American Pie Pizza Company. Finally, I just want to say what a special feeling it is to do our show for you. As you can clearly tell by listening, we'll let pretty much anyone on the air to express what's on their mind. Hearing so many of you share how we make your job or morning commute more enjoyable honestly means the world to us. It's why we do what we do. There's such a special feeling to our Morning After Show, and I think it's got a lot to do with the fact that our primary goal is to keep you entertained. The music we've been playing is top-notch, we've gotten some unbelievably-fantastic calls from you, and Silent Rob books the hell out of some great guests. You can count on us over four hours a day, five days a week (yes, including President's Day) to deliver our best effort at keeping you listening and laughing. Much love.

We Saved a Life Today!

By now, you've undoubtedly heard about the salmonella outbreak in Peter Pan and Great Value Peanut Butter in cans marked with a 2111. A disturbing amount of callers to the show have discovered that they have infected peanut butter in their panties! Oops, not panties...PANTRIES. The first caller, Ocean-O (I don't think that's his real name), sent us some pictures of his infected can. Had he not heard the Friday broadcast of The Morning After Show, he may have very well succumbed to intestinal distress and/or death!

Well, Magic fans...some good news and some bad news for you. The bad news is that the 3/8 game against the Bulls that was originally slated to be "O-Rock 1059 night" has sold out. The good news? Here's a little photo comparison my dad did a while ago. I just thought it was interesting how we both had striped shirts. I think I like today's fashion a hell of a lot better than the atrocious 1970s outfit I'm sporting. Xander's got a post-grunge baggy look going on, and I look RETARDED! Regardless of what was stylish at the time, how could my parents do that to me? No wonder I turned out the way I did.

Here's your Friday update from the Morning After Show! We hope you had as much fun listening to the show this week as we did putting it together for you. From Silent Rob's incarcerated-astronaut ditty to Dr. Ruth's tight lips about her own sex life, from author James Patterson's 28 million-dollar 2006 to Savannah's tender heart getting skated on by some low-life, from Drew's new girlfriend to Earnest's pro-black agenda...by all accounts, we had a blast this week.

This is the last shopping weekend before V-Day...and I want you to forget about the lame trip to the mall to buy the predictable boring and cheesy crap. This just in from The Morning After Show: Drew Garabo will get to try his dream job on Friday night! Well, his other dream job besides working on The Morning After Show. Since he was a little boy, Drew has dreamed of one day getting to work on a television broadcast for pro basketball. This Friday night, watch and marvel at Drew living his dream! The Magic will play the San Antonio Spurs on Channel 65 WRBW (Brighthouse channel 6 in Orlando), and Drew will join play-by-play stud David Steele and color commentator Matt Guokas during the 3rd quarter! Check it out this Friday night!
